Kootenay River, Banff (Captured & Created)

Captured & Created: Kootenay River

December 15 & 16 | Two Nights of Painting | $35

One unforgettable photograph. Two creative nights. And a whole lot of mountain magic.

For this special Captured & Created event, we’re heading to the breathtaking Kootenay River near Banff, British Columbia, through the lens of photographer Steve Burcham.

Steve’s original photograph captures a peaceful stack of cairns along the river, framed by the majestic Canadian Rockies in the distance. It’s one of those scenes that makes you want to stop, take it all in, and stay awhile.

Over two evenings, Deborah will transform Steve’s photograph into two different painting experiences, guiding you step-by-step as you create your own interpretation of this gorgeous mountain scene. No painting experience is needed—just come ready to relax, experiment with color, and enjoy the creative journey.

And there’s a BIG bonus for our early registrants…

The first 15 people to register will receive a FREE Kootenay River/Banff themed box valued at more than $25!

Inside your box you’ll receive:

• Two pre-traced 11x14 canvases for the two painting nights
• A special item featuring Steve’s original Kootenay River photograph
• Fun goodies inspired by Banff and the Canadian Rockies
• A few of Deborah’s favorite painting supplies
• Plus some extra surprises tucked inside!

The themed box alone is worth more than $25, and it’s included FREE for the first 15 registrants.

Two nights. Two paintings. Just $35.

This is more than an online paint class—it’s a chance to experience a beautiful place through photography and then make it completely your own through paint.

If you love mountains, travel, nature, photography, painting—or simply trying something a little different—this is one Captured & Created event you won’t want to miss.
